Vejekset Chydenius: Isän kädestä (SECOND-HAND CD)

The 2009 CD album Isän kädestä (In the Father's Hand), released by Veljekset Chydenius under the Pyramid / Johanna Kustannus label, features Jussi, Kalle, and Kai Chydenius performing interpretations of well-known compositions by their father, the legendary Finnish composer Kaj Chydenius. The brothers deliver new, predominantly acoustic versions of their father's classic songs, and the album includes a guest appearance by Tarja Turunen on the track Kenen joukoissa seisot (Whose Side Are You On). Produced by Pekka Tegelman, the album blends the delicate yet politically charged heritage of the Finnish song movement with a more modern interpretation.
