The King's Singers - Live at Christmas CD

With their Christmas album Live at Christmas, The King’s Singers expand our understanding of traditional Christmas music. Recorded live at London’s historic Temple Church, the album takes advantage of the church’s unique acoustics and offers an exceptionally broad overview of seasonal music spanning no less than nine centuries. On the album, the group’s phenomenal and crystal-clear six-part a cappella sound seamlessly weaves together medieval neume chants, rich Renaissance polyphony, beloved traditional Christmas carols, and modern pop arrangements—such as George Michael’s “Last Christmas”—making the album a perfect and dynamic soundtrack for the winter holiday season.
