Primus: Pork Soda (CD)

Pork Soda is the third studio album by the American alternative rock band Primus, released in 1993, which debuted straight into the top ten of the Billboard 200 chart (at number 7) and was later certified platinum. The album is known for its significantly darker and heavier sound compared to its predecessors, centering around Les Claypool's idiosyncratic, thumping bass playing and sarcastic lyrics. It spawned hit singles that became MTV staples, including "My Name Is Mud", "DMV", and "Mr. Krinkle", and was uniquely recorded in the band's own rehearsal space, giving the record its characteristically raw and DIY sound.
