Olivia Rodrigo: You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love (CD)

Olivia Rodrigo's third studio album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, released in 2026, is a widely acclaimed conceptual project that chronicles the lifecycle of a relationship from its blissful beginnings to its inevitable heartbreak. Released via Geffen Records, the album is cleverly divided into two halves: the opening "Girl So in Love" section bursts with the infatuation of new romance, while the latter "You Seem Pretty Sad" portion dives into anxiety and post-breakup melancholy. Musically, it marks the artist's most experimental work to date, blending her signature pop-rock sound with 1980s new wave, synth-pop, and dreamy dream-pop textures. The album's absolute standouts include the hit singles "Drop Dead" and "The Cure," as well as an extraordinary guest appearance by The Cure's legendary frontman Robert Smith, who duets on the track "What's Wrong with Me."
