Tubular Bells (50th Anniversary Edition) is a 2023 celebratory release of Mike Oldfield's 1973 progressive rock classic, an album that put Virgin Records on the global map and became widely famous for its chilling theme in The Exorcist horror film. This CD version includes the original masterpiece—played almost entirely by Oldfield himself—remastered, along with special material such as the rare 1975 quadraphonic mix, new versions, and the previously unreleased "Tubular Bells 4 Intro," which Oldfield finished in collaboration with producer David Kosten.
