Jethro Tull: Broadsword and the Beast (CD-album)

The Broadsword and the Beast (1982) is the 14th studio album by Jethro Tull, blending the band's signature folk rock with modern 1980s synthesizer sounds to create a dark, heavily fantasy-themed atmosphere. The album's distinctive cover art was created by artist Ian McCrae, and it was a commercial success particularly in Germany and Scandinavia, reaching the top 3 on the official Finnish album chart. The 2005 CD version of the album is musically highly regarded, as it features a digital remastering supervised by Ian Anderson himself, along with eight bonus tracks originally recorded during the album sessions but left off at the time due to the space limitations of vinyl records.
