Cosmic Cathedral: Deep Water (LP-vinyl)

Deep Water is the debut album by the progressive rock project Cosmic Cathedral, led by prog multi-instrumentalist Neal Morse and released in January 2025. The album blends progressive rock, jazz fusion, 1970s yacht rock, and Beatles-style pop into a melodic whole, featuring high-profile guest musicians such as legendary drummer Chester Thompson (Genesis, Frank Zappa), guitarist Phil Keaggy, and bassist Byron House. Released as a black double vinyl (2LP), this critically acclaimed record is lighter, airier, and more pop-oriented than traditional symphonic prog, while still delivering the complex arrangements and extended instrumental sections characteristic of the genre.
