Carl Orff: Carmina Burana- Chamber Version (SECOND-HAND CD)

Released in 2003 by the Swedish label BIS Records, this CD features Carl Orff's famous masterpiece Carmina Burana performed in a rare chamber version for two pianos and five percussionists, an arrangement authorized by the composer himself instead of the traditional full symphony orchestra. Conducted by Cecilia Rydinger Alin, the recording features the renowned Allmänna Sången choir, the Uppsala Musikklasser children's choir, and distinguished soloists, and it has received widespread acclaim particularly for its exceptionally clear, dynamic, and acoustically high-quality soundscape.
