Black River Bluesman – Ants in My Kitchen (SECOND-HAND CD)
Ants in My Kitchen is a 2005 album by Finnish blues musician Black River Bluesman, also known as Jukka Juhola, recorded with his band The Cockroach Combo. The album delivers raw and distinctive blues, blending the traditions of Mississippi Delta blues with electric blues and a down-to-earth, groove-driven sound.
The music features Juhola’s distinctive vocals and guitar playing, the unmistakable sound of blues harmonica, and the band's swinging rhythm section. Rooted in traditional Delta blues, the album also embraces a rough-edged, contemporary approach. The result is an honest and atmospheric blues record that focuses on feel, rhythm, and authenticity rather than flashy technical displays.
The tracklist includes Ain’t No Good, Ants in My Kitchen, Day After Day, Jump and Run, Out in the Woods, The Long Red Dirt Road, and By the End of the Day. This CD is an appealing choice for fans of traditional blues, harmonica-driven blues, and distinctive Finnish blues music.
