Benjamin Hudson, Sebastian Klinger, Jürgen Kruse - Arvo Pärt: Spiegel in Spiegel (CD)

Featuring the minimalist and meditative chamber music of Arvo Pärt, the Spiegel im Spiegel album is a CD released in 2010 by the Brilliant Classics record label, showcasing some of the composer's most famous and soothing works. At the heart of the album is its title track, whose extremely simplified, so-called tintinnabuli (bell-like) style is interpreted by pianist Jürgen Kruse, cellist Sebastian Klinger, and violist Benjamin Hudson. The approximately 47-minute collection consists mainly of slowly unfolding, hypnotically beautiful melodies that have made Pärt one of the most performed contemporary composers in the world, and its stripped-down soundscape is ideal for deep focus or relaxation.
