Avishai Cohen Trio - Eternal Child CD

Released by the Avishai Cohen Trio in May 2026, Eternal Child is a moving and virtuosic jazz album whose title track is dedicated to Cohen’s late mentor, Chick Corea. Bassist Avishai Cohen is joined by two outstanding young Israeli musicians, pianist Itay Simhovich and drummer Eviatar Slivnik, while Cohen’s long-time collaborator Jeff Ballard appears as a guest drummer on four tracks. Recorded in Paris, this ten-track album returns to the heart of Cohen’s acoustic trio jazz, combining complex, genre-defying rhythms, powerful swing and the irresistibly memorable melodies that are his trademark.
