Amanda Bergman: Embraced for a second as we die (LP-vinyl)

Swedish singer-songwriter Amanda Bergman is known not only for her solo career but also as the charismatic frontwoman of the acclaimed indie band Amason. Her third solo album, Embraced For A Second As We Die, released in January 2026, was inspired by major life turning points, including her husband's serious traffic accident and the passing of her father. Musically, the 10-track record moves the listener with atmospheric pop and rock sounds reminiscent of 1980s aesthetics and echoing guitars, all wrapped around Bergman's signature smoky and silky vocals. Recorded mostly in just two studio sessions at the Atlantis Studio in Stockholm, the album directly and tenderly addresses themes of mortality, parenthood, and the emotional uncertainty of the modern world.
