Peretic, Lovro - Guitar Recital - Various

Croatian-born Lovro Peretic has chosen a panoramic program that looks back to the 18th century and forward to the present day. This recital features Peretic's own arrangements of Brahms's intermezzo and two little-known works by Debussy, which have been heard on their world premiere recordings, as well as Karel Craeyvanger's tribute to Weber, Barrios Mangoré's sensual and evocative work, and Henze's richly characterized second sonata based on Shakespeare's characters.
