Mendelssohn, Felix - Piano Concertos & Capriccio brillant - Vogt, Lars

This new release is pianist-conductor Lars Vogt's debut album with the Orchestre de chambre de Paris. Lars Vogt began his career as the orchestra's new artistic director on July 1, 2020. This album release continues Lars Vogt's discography, which includes cornerstone works of the classical piano concerto repertoire, conducted by him from the keyboard. Previous album releases include all of Beethoven's and Brahms' piano concertos with the Royal Northern Sinfonia. In 2021, Lars Vogt won the OPUS Klassik Award for Best Solo Piano Album of the Year with his recent Janá?ek solo album (ODE 1382-2). The same album also won an ICMA Award in 2022.
