Forty years ago, my international career really took off when I got a call from musical genius Thad Jones, who asked me to join his new big band project, Ball of Fire, in Milan, Italy.

Guess what, I said yes!

Since then, I have been traveling winding musical paths, and I continue to do so.

When the pandemic began, I was stuck at home in Skillege, Sweden, on March 13, 2020.

Many, many months later, I am able to present something unprecedented: a solo performance. Just me, myself, and my trombone in a beautiful-sounding church near where I live with my wife Beatrice, Ingelstorp Church.
