Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker from a new perspective – very refreshing, very unusual, very hip hop. This is how French choreographer Bouba Landrille Tchouda interprets E.T.A. Hoffmann's story "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King" and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's romantic and moving composition. Together with his dance company Compagnie Malka, he interprets classical ballet in a surprisingly modern way, adding music by Yvan Talbot and lots of hip hop. Hip-hop is Bouba Landri's original background art form, which he uses to create new perspectives on classical works that we have never seen before.
