Apocalyptica is a Finnish cello metal band known for its unique musical style, which combines heavy metal with classical cello arrangements. The song "Nothing Else Matters," which the band covered on their album Apocalyptica Plays Metallica by Four Cellos, recorded in 1996, was featured at the end of episode 3 of the Netflix show Wednesday, and had a huge impact on the band's new and younger listeners on Spotify, for example. "Apocalyptica - Plays Metallica Vol.2" is a very special album and also their tenth studio album. It is not just a return to their roots, but this time Metallica themselves are involved. James Hetfield sings on the song "One" (something that has never happened before in Metallica's 40-year history) – confidential, embargoed until May 17 – Rob Trujillo (bass guitar) on the song "The Four Horsemen" and Dave Lombardo (drums) on the song "Blackened" are just a few of the songs on this album. The difference from the first album is that there are now three cellos and drums instead of just four cellos.
