Roger Eno The Turning Year

Roger Eno's debut solo album, The Turning Year, released on Deutsche Grammophon, opened a window onto the British composer's vision. Now Eno has returned to this repertoire and expanded it with a series of three EPs and one vinyl record, featuring a combination of illuminating reworkings, previously unreleased tracks, and gems from the album's creators. In the project, collectively titled The Turning Year·Rarities, he collaborates with violinist Rosie Toll, members of the renowned German string ensemble Scoring Berlin, and his daughters Cecily and Lotti Eno, as well as performing many of his own solo works. All of the material on Rarities, as well as the bonus track, reflect Roger Eno's relationship with music, which he describes as "...an almost symbolic activity involving 'harmony' – synonymous with love, consensus, and friendship. These EPs contain a lot of me and others."
